La Kumbaya Gospel Choir est la première chorale Gospel de Montpellier, dirigée par Anne-Sophie Dumotier et Joël Bulaya. Elle propose un répertoire gospel varié, mêlant traditionnel et moderne, le tout avec des influences africaines, porté par une trentaine de choristes d’âges, d’horizons et nationalités différentes ainsi que 4 musiciens.
La Kumbaya Gospel Choir reprend des chants gospel
connus et moins connus, d’horizons bien différents.
Un mélange de gospel moderne et traditionnel (Donnie McClurkin, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Georgia Mass Choir, Sunday Service Choir, Kingdom Choir…) mais aussi Africain (Soweto Gospel Choir, Joyous Celebration, Spirit of Praise, Nathaniel Bassey…).
